ASTONFLY LAUNCHES SILENT SKY FOR A MORE SILENT SKY

On Saturday 4 June, Charles Clair (Chairman and Founder of Astonfly) and Patrick Milward (Managing Director) presented the Silent Sky project to an audience of local residents and elected officials from Toussus-Le-Noble. Silent Sky is a voluntary initiative by Astonfly dedicated to reducing noise pollution at the Toussus-le-Noble aerodrome.

As the 4th largest aerodrome in France in terms of aircraft movements, the noise impact of aircraft has been a concern for local residents and elected officials for several years.

Our company is the leading sound manufacturer here and we did not wait for pressure from local residents to think about it,” insists Charles Clair. It’s a voluntary approach. Today we have to respond to the issues of the aviation of the future.

But how to achieve this? Astonfly has made several commitments to address this issue.

– TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF MOVEMENTS

– EXCLUSIVELY OPERATING A OR B RATED AIRCRAFT

– SPECIALISE IN TRAINING FUTURE AIRLINE PILOTS.

– INVEST IN ELECTRIC AIRCRAFT
