Instructor Recycling Seminar

If your instructor qualification is still valid, you can extend it

To extend your instructor certificate, you must meet 2 of the following 3 conditions:

1. Justification of at least 50 hours of flight instruction experience over the last period of validity, including 10 hours of instruments in the 12 months prior to expiry if the privileges to be extended include the IR extension.
2. Participation in a instructor recycling seminar within 12 months of expiry of privileges.
3. Completion of an FCL.935 Competency Assessment within 12 months of expiry of privileges.

Notes: A competency assessment in compliance with FCL.935 is mandatory once every 3 extensions.

If your instructor qualification is no longer valid and you have to renew it

To renew your instructor certificate, you must:

1. Participate to an instructor recycling seminar.
2. Complete a competency assessment in compliance with FCL.935.
