Upset Prevention and
Recovery Training (UPRT)

1 WEEK

Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) after loss of control is integrated into the training of all commercial pilots. It prepares you to implement the appropriate procedure to recover from a loss of control during flight. At Astonfly, this training is taught by former military pilots on TB30 Epsilon, a former French Air Force training aircraft. The training is validated by a certificate.

5 hours of theory via e-learning

3 hours of aerobatic flight instruction

Unit E

Working with a
crew and APS MCC
standardisation

3 WEEKS

During this phase at a simulation centre in Dublin, you will learn to work with a crew in a multi-pilot environment and obtain your MCC (Multi Crew Cooperation) proficiency and APS (Airline Pilot Standard) qualifications. The training is validated by a certificate.

16 hours of CBT (Computer Based Training)

40 hours of theory training

20 hours of briefings and debriefings

40 hours of FTD Level 2 simulator training (Boeing 737 MAX)
