After a career as a professional fireman, he turned to aviation. From microlight pilot to twin-engine pilot, Astonfly has entrusted him with training tomorrow’s airline pilots for the past 4 years. His vision: “To see the smiles on my students’ faces after a demanding flight, to see them satisfied with their performance, to be able to help them in their moments of doubt; this is what this profession represents for me, a profession of sharing, transmission, excellence and high standards.”
Today, as Chief Flight Instructor, he continues my commitment to training a team of quality instructors.

After being graduated in aeronautical engineering in Canada in 2009, he comes back to France and starts his career in private aviation. Passionated about aeronautics, he spends 10 years in a major airline company where he specializes himself in compliance and safety management. He joined Clair Group as a compliance manager in 2022.

Véritable passionné d’aviation et parlant 4 langues, il est titulaire d’un master en management de l’UTS, la prestigieuse université de technologie de Sydney. Il a commencé sa carrière dans une compagnie aérienne en tant que commercial et a rejoint Astonfly en 2022 en tant que responsable des partenariats avec les compagnies aériennes.

A true aviation enthusiast who speaks 4 languages, he holds a Master’s degree in Management from UTS, the prestigious University of Technology in Sydney. He started his career with an airline as a salesman and joined Astonfly in 2022 as an Airline’s Partnership Manager.

Maxime started his career at Xerox where he held various operational positions and then Business Unit management. He then turned his career to financial institutions holding several front-office positions in Europe . As a passionate pilot, he joined the business aviation industry as Sales Director in Geneva. With this experience in business development, he joined Astonfly to implement the Group’s partnership strategy with airlines. Maxime holds a multi-engine commercial pilot’s license, instrument flight (FAA), aerobatic and seaplane qualifications.

Maxime a débuté sa carrière chez Xerox ou il a occupé différents postes opérationnels puis de direction de BU. Il a ensuite orienté sa carrière vers les marchés financiers institutionnels occupant plusieurs postes front-office en Europe. Pilote passionné, il rejoint l’aviation d’affaires en tant que Directeur des ventes à Genève. Fort de cette expérience en développement commercial, il rejoint Astonfly pour mettre en place la stratégie de partenariat du Groupe avec les compagnies aériennes. Maxime est titulaire d’un brevet de pilote professionnel bimoteur, vol aux instruments (FAA), qualifié voltige et hydravion.

After a degree in aeronautical engineering obtained between France, the USA and Spain, he decided to follow his dreams and obtain his professional pilot’s licence. During this time, he developed his passion for teaching by giving courses in engineering schools and high schools. It is therefore logical that he turns to theoretical instruction once he has obtained his licence.

Après un diplôme d’ingénierie aéronautique obtenu entre la France, les USA et l’Espagne, il décide d’aller au bout de ses rêves et de passer sa licence de pilote professionnelle. Durant tout ce temps, il développe son goût pour la pédagogie en donnant des cours en école d’ingénieurs et lycée. C’est donc tout naturellement qu’il se tourne vers l’instruction théorique une fois sa licence obtenue. 

With 25 years of experience and more than 12,000 flight hours in the aeronautical sector, he has had the opportunity to explore the different facets of the pilot’s profession.

His multiple missions as a flight instructor and examiner, pilot in command in various organisations, ATO, airline and business aviation allowed him to strengthen his expertise and increase his responsibilities.

His objective today is to bring the students to a high level of excellence, thanks to a rigorous and adapted pedagogy.
